Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress Keri Russell is set for a major streaming moment this October 2026 as Netflix expands its non-exclusive content catalog. On October 2, Netflix officially announced that all four seasons of Russell's career-defining 1990s drama series Felicity will join its streaming platform on October 7. The timing offers fans a nostalgia-filled prelude just days before Russell returns to screen in the highly anticipated fourth season of her political thriller series The Diplomat on October 15.
Created by J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves, Felicity premiered on The WB in September 1998 and ran for 84 episodes through 2002. Russell starred as the titular character, Felicity Porter, a young woman who makes an impulsive decision to attend college in New York City to follow her high school crush. The beloved coming-of-age series earned widespread critical acclaim and won Russell the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 1999, catapulting her to mainstream stardom.
The streaming addition comes as excitement builds for The Diplomat Season 4, where Russell serves as executive producer and stars as U.S. Ambassador Kate Wyler. The political drama follows Kate as she navigates international security crises alongside her volatile personal and professional relationship with her husband, Hal Wyler, played by Rufus Sewell. Season 4 picks up immediately after the dramatic cliffhanger ending of Season 3, exploring complex power dynamics and political stakes in London and Washington.
Across her decades-long career, Russell has established a reputation for compelling television and film performances. Following her breakout in Felicity, she earned three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for her starring role as Soviet KGB officer Elizabeth Jennings in FX's acclaimed Cold War spy drama The Americans. Her extensive film work includes prominent roles in Mission: Impossible III, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and the comedy thriller Cocaine Bear.
With all four seasons of Felicity arriving on October 7 and The Diplomat Season 4 premiering globally on October 15, October provides a comprehensive retrospective of Russell's television career. As promotional appearances continue, Russell remains focused on developing future television and film projects through her independent production banner, maintaining her standing as one of Hollywood's most versatile leading performers.
