Wiz Khalifa has officially entered a new chapter in his career by signing a label partnership with 10K Projects, returning to the Warner Music Group family where his major-label journey first began. To mark the business update, Khalifa released his new single "The Calm," featuring vocalist Jae Harp, which showcases a genre-blending sound combining subtle indie rock guitar riffs with his signature laid-back hip-hop flow.
The new single serves as a preview for Khalifa’s upcoming studio album, titled Cool, scheduled for release on November 13, 2026. Recorded alongside familiar hometown producers including E. Dan, Sledgren, Ricky P, Big Jerm, and I.D. Labs, the project reflects a renewed creative direction while maintaining the collaborative energy that built his reputation in Pittsburgh. The 10K Projects deal also reunites Khalifa with executive Marsha St. Hubert, his former project manager who now holds a leadership role at the label.
The label signing coincides with a major batch of catalog milestones announced by Khalifa's team and certified by the RIAA. His historic hits "Black and Yellow" and "Young, Wild & Free" featuring Snoop Dogg achieved official Diamond status, while his blockbuster tribute "See You Again" featuring Charlie Puth reached 16-times Platinum. Additional upgrades were awarded to classic singles such as "Roll Up" and "Work Hard, Play Hard," underscoring the enduring commercial weight of his catalog.
In addition to preparing his solo album, Khalifa recently released the collaborative mixtape project Blog Era Boyz alongside longtime friend Machine Gun Kelly. The nostalgia-leaning release was accompanied by a music video for the single "Everything Tatted," featuring guest appearances from Bam Margera and Ty Dolla $ign, while highlighting the pair's shared origins in the internet music scene of the late 2000s.
With Cool slated for a November release and new tour dates in development, Khalifa's return to the Warner roster sets up a busy end of the year for the Taylor Gang founder as he continues expanding his musical repertoire.
