Marvel Television has officially released a captivating second trailer for its upcoming superhero limited series VisionQuest, spotlighting British actor Paul Bettany in his celebrated return as Vision. Published on October 1, 2026, the fresh promotional footage offers fans their most comprehensive preview yet of the two-episode premiere scheduled to debut on Disney+ on October 14, 2026.
Bettany, fifty-five, is an acclaimed English actor whose career spans decades of acclaimed stage and screen work. He initially captured international attention through notable roles in acclaimed period dramas and feature films such as A Knight's Tale, A Beautiful Mind, and Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. His refined voice work and commanding screen presence eventually led to his casting within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting in 2008.
Within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bettany first provided the voice for Tony Stark's artificial intelligence assistant, J.A.R.V.I.S., across early Iron Man titles and Avengers films. He made his live-action physical debut as Vision in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, subsequently appearing in Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. In 2021, Bettany earned critical acclaim and a Primetime Emmy nomination for his performance opposite Elizabeth Olsen in the groundbreaking streaming hit WandaVision.
VisionQuest serves as the definitive third chapter in a storytelling arc that continued through 2024's Agatha All Along. The new eight-episode series follows White Vision as he navigates a complex journey of self-discovery, attempting to process recovered memories while lacking emotional connection. The newly revealed footage showcases high-stakes action alongside returns from notable franchise cast members, including James Spader returning to voice the menacing artificial intelligence persona Ultron within Vision's fractured mindscape.
The upcoming premiere represents a major fall centerpiece for Marvel's television lineup on Disney+, bridging key narrative threads ahead of upcoming theatrical MCU blockbusters. For Bettany, the show marks a significant milestone in an eighteen-year tenure with Marvel Studios, cementing his legacy as one of the franchise's most enduring and multifaceted performers.
