Xenia Tchoumitcheva

Xenia Tchoumitcheva, professionally known as Xenia Tchoumi, is a Swiss model, content creator, and entrepreneur. Born on August 5, 1987, in Magnitogorsk, Russia, she relocated with her family to Lugano, Switzerland, at the age of six. She grew up in the Italian-speaking part of the country before later settling in London, England. To make her public name more accessible to English speakers, she officially shortened it to Xenia Tchoumi around 2015.

Tchoumitcheva began modeling at the age of 12 while continuing her education. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the Università della Svizzera italiana in 2010. Fluent in Italian, Russian, German, French, English, and Spanish, she gained early corporate exposure through finance internships at institutions such as Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan Chase, and the London hedge fund Duet Group.

Her public profile rose significantly in 2006 when she competed in the Miss Switzerland pageant, finishing as the first runner-up and earning the title of Miss Photogenic. Following the event, the organization extended an appearance contract to her similar to the winner's. Media recognition followed, including being named Best Bikini Body by Schweizer Illustrierte in 2009 and Most Beautiful Woman of the Year by the Swiss edition of Maxim in 2012. She was also featured in Spanish GQ and included in AskMen's list of the 99 most influential women for 2016.

Over the course of her modeling career, Tchoumitcheva signed with major agencies, including Option Model Agency, Oxygen Models, Tess Management, and Elite Model Management. As a digital influencer and fashion model, she has collaborated with major luxury brands and publications, including Dior, Ferragamo, Vogue, ELLE, Vanity Fair, L'Officiel, Chopard, L'Oréal, Bulgari, and Tom Ford. She has also served as a brand ambassador or face for companies such as Revlon, Audi, Air Europa, Nikon, Swiss Smile, and IWC. In September 2019, she signed with the talent agency CAA, and in September 2023, she made her catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week for Jovani.

In addition to modeling, Tchoumitcheva has worked as an actress, television presenter, and writer. After studying acting at the New York Film Academy, she appeared in short films such as Les Enfants de la Honte and Lines, as well as feature films including Bob et Les Sex Pistaches and Without Men. Her hosting work includes presenting Miss Switzerland 2011, Miss Ukraine 2012, and the business program L'Italia che funziona. As a journalist, she has contributed to publications such as Schweizer Monat, Haute Living, and Bilan, and in 2013 launched her own online business and blog, Chic Overdose. In December 2020, she published the book Empower Yourself through Watkins Media.

Tchoumitcheva regularly serves as a public speaker addressing topics such as female leadership, digital business, and brand development. She has delivered presentations at various academic and corporate forums, including a TEDx talk in 2015 and a speech at the United Nations Headquarters in 2017, where she was designated an ITC SheTrades ambassador.
