Italian television presenter and model Federica Nargi made a high-profile return to the dance floor on October 24. Nargi appeared as a special guest "ballerina per una notte" on Rai 1's popular talent show Ballando con le Stelle, performing a duo tango routine alongside actress Bianca Guaccero to earn bonus points for the current season's competitors.
The appearance holds special significance for Nargi, who was a standout finalist on the show's 19th season in 2024, where she finished on the podium alongside professional dancer Luca Favilla. Nargi's return to the studio also allowed her to support her longtime partner, former professional footballer Alessandro Matri, who is currently competing as a contestant in the 2026 edition of the series.
Beyond her television appearances, Nargi has recently solidified a major fashion partnership with Italian clothing retailer Motivi. The brand officially announced Nargi as the face of its new autumnal campaign, titled "Confidence Starts with Care," which emphasizes authentic femininity, self-care, and accessible everyday style through tailored coats, knitwear, and modern suiting.
Nargi first gained national prominence in Italy as a resident showgirl ("velina") on the long-running satirical news program Striscia la Notizia from 2008 to 2012. Over the past decade and a half, she has established a versatile career as a model, brand ambassador, and television host, working across numerous entertainment formats and high-profile advertising campaigns.
With a combined focus on prime-time television and new commercial ventures, Nargi continues to be a prominent figure in Italian media and fashion. Her collaboration with Motivi is scheduled to expand later this winter with a second chapter dedicated to eveningwear and special occasion styling.
