Recognized as a trailblazer among curve models in the international fashion industry, she gained global prominence by breaking long-standing size barriers across high-fashion editorials, luxury advertising campaigns, and major runway shows. Over her multi-decade career, Huffine has successfully bridged the divide between commercial modeling and elite fashion, becoming a leading voice for body diversity and size representation.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born on October 15, 1984, in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., and raised in Bowie, Maryland, Huffine grew up involved in beauty pageants and high school cheerleading. She entered the modeling world early, signing her first commercial contract in 2000 at fifteen years old. To pursue modeling full-time, she relocated to New York City, working side jobs as a waitress and reservationist while attending castings. Her career gained significant momentum in 2011 after appearing in a feature for V Magazine photographed by Solve Sundsbo, followed by a landmark cover feature for Vogue Italia shot by Steven Meisel.
