International supermodel and entrepreneur Miranda Kerr opened up about her decision to decline an invitation to walk in the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast on November 3, 2026, the 43-year-old fashion icon explained that while she initially considered making a surprise return to the famous runway, underlying anxiety led her to trust her intuition and pass on the opportunity.
Kerr shared that the brand reached out to invite her back for the brand's revived annual show, sparking fond memories of her six previous appearances with the company. Having recently walked the runway for designer Stella McCartney, Kerr noted that she initially felt enthusiastic about revisiting the stage. However, as she contemplated performing in lingerie at this stage of her life and career, she began experiencing a persistent feeling of apprehension that meditation could not ease.
The model explained that as a mother of four sons, she felt her current lifestyle and priorities no longer aligned with the high-pressure environment of a lingerie presentation. Kerr stated that once she made the definitive choice to decline the offer, the physical tension vanished, reassuring her that she had made the right decision. She emphasized that she remains deeply honored to have been invited back and looks fondly upon her history with the brand.
Kerr first rose to global prominence in the mid-2000s, becoming the first Australian model to be named a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2007. Throughout her modeling career, she has graced cover stories for top fashion magazines and fronted major international luxury campaigns. Beyond the runway, Kerr established herself as a successful business leader by founding KORA Organics, a certified organic skincare brand distributed worldwide.
Fans and beauty industry insiders praised Kerr's candid discussion regarding body confidence, self-care, and setting personal boundaries. While she chose not to participate in this year's runway event, Kerr continues to focus on growing her global wellness empire while balancing family life alongside her husband, Snap Inc. CEO Evan Spiegel.
