Luxury digital retail platform Mytheresa officially unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 global fashion campaign on September 9, 2026, starring acclaimed American actress and perennial fashion icon Chloë Sevigny. Shot through a candid, cinematic lens against the backdrop of New York City, the seasonal campaign showcases a curated editorial edit featuring ready-to-wear garments, sculptural outerwear, and fine jewelry from premier international fashion houses including Valentino, Saint Laurent, Gucci, and Toteme.

The visual campaign captures Sevigny moving between landmark New York streets and intimate indoor spaces, embodying an effortless approach to personal style. Highlighting tailored suits, tactile knitwear, and striking evening pieces, the shoot emphasizes personal expression as a form of visual storytelling. Speaking on her participation in the launch, Sevigny noted that she has long utilized wardrobe choices to express her identity, adding that shooting in her home city made the creative collaboration feel deeply personal and meaningful.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and raised in Darien, Connecticut, Sevigny began her career working as a high-fashion model and appearing in music videos for alternative rock groups like Sonic Youth during the early 1990s. She quickly emerged as a cultural trendsetter in New York's creative scene before making her feature film debut in the groundbreaking 1995 independent drama Kids. Her breakthrough performance as Lana Tisdel in the 1999 biographical drama Boys Don't Cry earned her widespread critical acclaim, alongside nominations for the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, Sevigny built a diverse filmography across independent cinema and major television projects, starring in films such as American Psycho, Zodiac, and The Dead Don't Die. She gained extensive television acclaim for her portrayals of Nicolette Grant in HBO's drama series Big Love, which earned her a Golden Globe Award in 2010, and recurring roles across multiple seasons of FX's American Horror Story. Beyond acting, Sevigny has expanded into filmmaking, directing celebrated short films including Kitty, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016.

Consistently regarded as one of fashion's most enduring tastemakers since being famously dubbed an "It girl" in the mid-1990s, Sevigny continues to bridge the worlds of high fashion and cinema. Her ongoing creative partnerships with leading luxury brands underscore her unique ability to combine avant-garde style with timeless sophistication. As the Mytheresa Fall/Winter 2026 collection rolls out globally on digital platforms, Sevigny remains engaged with both fashion initiatives and upcoming narrative film projects.
