Academy Award-winning actress and director Angelina Jolie has officially finalized the sale of her historic Los Angeles residence in Los Feliz for $24.75 million. The deal, completed in late September 2026, marks the end of an era for the iconic estate where Jolie resided for nearly a decade. Originally listed earlier in the year for approximately $29.85 million, the landmark property attracted significant attention from luxury real estate collectors before closing with a buyer.

Spanning over two acres in the exclusive Laughlin Park enclave, the 11,000-square-foot Beaux-Arts mansion carries a rich Hollywood history. Built in 1913, the property was owned for more than four decades by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, who expanded the compound by acquiring adjacent land. The home features six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a private library, sprawling gardens, and a historic swimming pool surrounded by panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills and the Griffith Observatory.

Jolie originally purchased the estate in June 2017 for $24.5 million, following her initial divorce filing from actor Brad Pitt. The residence served as the primary home base for Jolie and her children during a transitional period in her personal life. Reports indicate that with her children now reaching adulthood and establishing their own independent paths, the star is shifting her focus toward broader international living and humanitarian endeavors.

Recognized internationally as one of the most prominent figures in modern entertainment, Jolie achieved global superstardom with her turn as video game heroine Lara Croft in the 2001 action feature Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. She earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the 1999 drama Girl, Interrupted and went on to star in box-office blockbusters including Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Wanted, Salt, and Disney's Maleficent franchise. In addition to acting, she has directed critically acclaimed features such as In the Land of Blood and Honey and Unbroken.

Following the completion of the real estate transaction, Jolie is expected to divide her time between her global charitable projects and international travel. The star remains deeply committed to her ongoing humanitarian foundation in Cambodia, where she maintains a residence, while also preparing for future film projects as both a performer and filmmaker.
