Singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow has been chosen to headline Live On Sunset, a free one-day outdoor music festival set to take over the iconic Sunset Strip in West Hollywood on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The announcement was officially made on October 6 by the City of West Hollywood, marking a major celebration of the famous corridor's legendary musical legacy. The event will temporarily close down Sunset Boulevard between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard, bringing a high-profile lineup to fans free of charge with advance online registration. City officials highlighted that the street festival represents West Hollywood's first massive open-air concert on the Strip since the original Sunset Strip Music Festival wrapped its run in 2014.

The headline spot carries a deeply personal meaning for Crow, who launched her career performing in West Hollywood's renowned club circuit. Early in her journey, the performer developed her signature sound playing intimate shows at iconic Sunset Boulevard venues like The Roxy and The Viper Room. She also gained major national exposure as a backup vocalist and duet partner for Michael Jackson during his massive Bad World Tour from 1987 to 1989, later establishing herself as a dominant figure in modern rock and roots music.

Live On Sunset will also serve as Crow's first major live performance following the upcoming release of her 12th studio album, Pick You Up, scheduled to arrive on October 9, 2026. The nine-time Grammy Award winner and 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be joined by a diverse, multi-generational roster of artists. West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman praised Crow's longstanding connection to the local community, noting that her early performances helped define the vibrant cultural history of the strip. The supporting lineup features indie rock outfit Local Natives, electro-pop musician Empress Of, guitar prodigy Grace Bowers, singer-actor Doug Locke, and resident DJ Mia Moretti.

Throughout her career, Crow has amassed over 50 million album sales worldwide and built an enduring discography anchored by multi-platinum releases such as Tuesday Night Music Club and The Globe Sessions. Over the past three decades, Crow has earned acclaim for timeless hits including "All I Wanna Do," "If It Makes You Happy," and "Soak Up the Sun," while collaborating with legendary musicians like Stevie Nicks, Chris Stapleton, and Bonnie Raitt.

Registration for the free event opens to the general public on October 14, 2026, through the official festival portal. Organizers expect a heavy turnout as fans gather to see the veteran star deliver a landmark homecoming performance on the street where her career first gained momentum.
