Grammy-nominated indie-folk sensation Noah Kahan has officially wrapped the Australian and New Zealand leg of his global 'The Great Divide Tour,' concluding the run with back-to-back sold-out performances at Auckland's Spark Arena. Following the final New Zealand dates on October 10 and 11, the Vermont artist made headlines offstage by taking a high-adrenaline 18,000-foot skydive over Auckland, calling the experience one of the most memorable moments of his international travels.
Adding to a momentous week, Kahan released his new single, "Draw You Out," on October 12. The track serves as the lead single for the upcoming companion album to "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping," set for full release in November. Featuring Kahan’s signature grounded vocals and acoustic instrumentation, the track draws deep inspiration from District 12 lore and highlights his affinity for evocative storytelling.
Tour opener Michael Marcagi reflected on the Antipodean dates on October 20, describing the experience of sharing the stage with Kahan as an unforgettable milestone. Marcagi noted that performing for Kahan's passionate crowds night after night provided a powerful sense of catharsis, cementing a strong connection between both artists and their international fanbase.
Kahan’s rise to global prominence began with the viral success of his multi-platinum anthem "Stick Season," which transformed him from a regional New England favorite into an international headliner. Known for his candid exploration of mental health, nostalgia, and small-town life, Kahan has cultivated a massive, dedicated following across major streaming platforms and live venues worldwide.
Following a short breather, Kahan will take 'The Great Divide Tour' across Europe and the United Kingdom, with upcoming arena dates lined up in Glasgow, Manchester, London, Dublin, and Amsterdam. As his live audience expands, Kahan continues to solidify his position as one of modern folk-pop's most influential voices.
